In 1981, I was going to buy my first home. I went to my local bank and got a quote. I asked if that is all I needed, he told me with 20% down and $5,000 I should be fine. When I got to the closing I was short $3,000 which was a lot of money 40 years ago. I was mad, and asked the bank officer, what happened. He gave me some mombo- jumbo about filing fees, reserves, etc., but it didn’t matter, I still had to borrow from family and friends and closed on my first home. I did the research on mortgages and decided that I would become a mortgage lender. Since that time, I have helped 10s of thousands clients become happy home owners, I always tell you the real truth.

Who can qualify for a mortgage?
You must be of legal age (usually 21), have verifiable income, usually 2 years of employment (unless a student) , a bank account, good credit fair and no credit sometimes works, with an explanation). We have programs for special situations, so text or call with your questions. We have many programs that the big boys don’t have, simply because they want to do volume with those who fit in their box. We want to do what’s right by everyone.
